Griselda – Festival della Valle d’Itria

On July 24 Carmela Remigio will make her debut in the title role of Alessandro Scarlatti’s Griselda at the Festival della Valle d’Itria (Martina Franca). 

New critical edition by La Lira di Orfeo and Luca Della Libera on the occasion of the 300th anniversary of the opera’s premiere, for the 47th Festival della Valle d’Itria, in collaboration with Fondazione Paolo Grassi.

Alongside Carmela Remigio will be Raffaele Pe (Gualtiero), Francesca Ascioti (Ottone), Mariam Battistelli (Costanza), Krystian Adam (Corrado), Miriam Albano (Roberto), Carlo Buonfrate (Everardo).

George Petrou will be conducting; the staging is realized by Rosetta Cucchi.
Returns on July 29 and August 1.

The opera is going to be broadcasted on July 29 on Rai Radio3
